新体讯 北京时间2月22日晨，2016年斯诺克威尔士公开赛全部结束。决赛第一阶段，奥沙利文状态欠佳，3-5落后罗伯逊。第二阶段，已完成调整的奥沙利文直落6局，从2-5落后算起连胜7局，最后一局轰单杆141分完美收官，总比分9-5逆转罗伯逊，第四次在威尔士赛封王。同时，奥沙利文以28个冠军头衔追平了史蒂夫-戴维斯和希金斯。本届威尔士公开赛的冠军奖为6万英镑。
威尔士公开赛是本赛季的第6站大型排名赛，采用128人全部从首轮打起的赛制。在前面的比赛中，本赛季首次亮相大型排名赛正赛的奥沙利文势如破竹，前五轮他只丢了3局，平奇斯、田鹏飞、吉米-罗伯逊、于德陆以及世界第一塞尔比接连被其横扫出局。半决赛，奥沙利文6-3拿下顽强应战的乔-佩里，生涯第第40次闯入大型排名赛决赛。值得一提的是，决赛前，火箭一共轰出9杆破百，其中包括首轮一杆引起巨大争议的146分。世界排名第3的罗伯逊也一路发挥平稳，期间1/4决赛他5-2力克完成一杆147满分的中国选手丁俊晖。半决赛他0-2落后6-4逆转马克-艾伦，与奥沙利文会师最后的决赛。
之前双方交手17次，奥沙利文10胜6负1平占优。决赛采用17局9胜，分两个阶段进行，在第一阶段前八局比赛中，奥沙利文迟迟找不到兴奋点，前几轮的疯狂手感不再，开场连丢两局0-2落后。奥沙利文努力调整，在第3局拉开进攻架势，然而运气欠佳，单杆连得60分出现静电，没能做到黑球。防守一杆被罗伯逊远台突破，不过罗伯逊追为33-60打丢最后一颗红球，红球停在袋角，奥沙利文88-33将场上比分改写为1-2。第4局，防守大战红球被打得满台，奥沙利文仅打进一颗红球，罗伯逊打单杆76分，局间休息前以3-1领先奥沙利文。
之后他努力调整但效果不佳，罗伯逊一度将比分优势扩大到5-2，领先三局之多。第8局奥沙利文单杆连得44分中断，好在防守过程中他从顶袋找到下球点，60-20超分。台面还有一颗红球，罗伯逊做斯诺克没能成功，奥沙利文85-20一波三折拿下第一阶段最后一局，前八局战罢，奥沙利文3-5落后罗伯逊，为接下来的反击赢得了更好的起点。
经过短短三个小时休整，两人展开决赛第二阶段较量。第9局，罗伯逊先得39分中袋出错，比赛由此发生转折。奥沙利文单杆57分94-39拿下该局，将场上总比分缩小为4-5。第10局，中袋一次次成为罗伯逊的噩梦，奥沙利文78-42再下一城，首次以5-5逼平罗伯逊。
奥沙利文手感持续好转，单杆67分拿下第11局，首次以6-5实现反超。第12局，罗伯逊一度有非常好的机会，连得21分不慎底袋出错，红球留在袋角，奥沙利文继续以单杆70分压制罗伯逊，局间休息前7-5领先罗伯逊两局。
比赛进入第13局，罗伯逊为远台失误吞下苦果，已进入角色的奥沙利文一杆取得61分领先。越来越被动的罗伯逊打进奥沙利文留在底袋的红球力度没控制好，没做到中袋附近的黑球，贸然翻袋最终失误，奥沙利文79-1拿下该局，总比分8-5获得赛点。第14局，罗伯逊开球漏远台，奥沙利文直接入局，干净利落轰单杆141分完美收官。至此，从第一阶段最后一局起，奥沙利文连胜7局，总比分9-5逆转罗伯逊，第四次夺得威尔士公开赛冠军，追平希金斯在这里的历史最好成绩。同时，奥沙利文的个人排名赛冠军增加到28个，已追平史蒂夫-戴维斯和希金斯。 （莫林）
